Back from NY into a busy week

Well we got back from NY on Sunday night. We had a great trip. We spent Friday in the city visiting the Shaolin Temple, Chinatown, and the village (where we purchased Bean's first onesie pictured above). Friday night Jamaar's dad and Mary (Jamaar's stepmother) took us out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant to celebrate Jamaar's birthday and all of our exciting news.

Saturday, we spent the day on Long Island. We met Jamaar's mom, his two sisters, and his 7 year-old niece. We went out for lunch and then went to the movies.

Sunday we went to church with Jamaar's dad and then went out for breakfast. We then visited both of his grandmothers. We were staying at Jamaar's dad's house, so we got back there in the late afternoon, packed our bags, took a nap, and then left for Baltimore around 6pm.

Every time we go it's always a great trip and we always regret not having more time. Jamaar's family always seem so excited to see us, it's always a great feeling. And of course they're all excited about Bean!

I had to go to work on Monday morning, and the week has been really busy with several classrooms having holiday parties and we always have a big Winter Celebration program where our Pre K kids sing songs and act out little skits. So, I had a busy week dealing with all of that.

But it's Friday and it's all over! Happy Holidays to everyone!
