Well Jamaar was very, very good to me this Christmas. If you know me well enough, you will know that I think that The Color Purple by Alice Walker is one of the best books ever written and it should be a book read by everyone. I mentioned to Jamaar that the play would be coming to Baltimore around the time that Bean is due.
Well he gave me the best Christmas gift! Tickets to see the play in New York city in March. I thought if we got tickets it would be in Baltimore and I would be uncomfortable because I would be so huge! But we'll be seeing it in March on Broadway and spending the night in the city (usually we stay at Jamaar's dad's house on Long Island). I'm so excited!
